World Down’s Syndrome Day - 21 on 21 in 21!
On 21st March every year we celebrate World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD). It is a global awareness day which has been officially observed by the United Nations since 2012. We encourage our families, friends and supporters to choose their own activities and events on WDSD to help raise awareness of Down’s syndrome and to help us raise funds to support people with Down’s syndrome and their families in our community.
World Down’s Syndrome Day is the focal highlight of our fundraising and awareness raising calendar and even though the continuing pandemic restrictions will impact on our usual WDSD activities, we still have lost of great ideas and fun activities that you can enjoy in a responsible and socially-distanced way, and join us as we remember, celebrate & champion our amazing and truly inspiring Cheshire Down’s Syndrome community.
Here’s our exclusive WDSD awareness video for you to watch from the safety and comfort of your own home, classroom or school hall!
If you would like to receive an MP4 copy of the video via We Transfer then please contact us at schools@cdssgroup.org.uk
